“Building Blocks” is a series of 12 fun patterns that will build your knitting skills. Starting with simple knit and purl stitches, your confidence will grow as you progress through several major knitting principles. Each block focuses on new stitches and techniques in a sequential fashion that “builds” upon the previously learned skill.
At the end of the series, the knitter is rewarded with an abundance of knitting know-how and 12 beautiful squares to assemble into a sampler afghan, baby blanket, pillows or anything limited only by your imagination!

To make all of the “Building Blocks” in the book, you will need 10 skeins of HiKoo’s SimpliWorsted yarn. Buttery soft, machine washable, and available in a huge selection of vibrant colors, this yarn is the perfect all around worsted weight yarn!
• Classes are non-transferable. Once a student signs up, classes can not be transferred to another class.

Please read before signing up.
- This is a 3-month series (12 weeks), one block per week. Progress is tracked by week, not attendance.
- Cancellations made 1+ week in advance: 50% store credit. Less than 1 week: no refund.
- Private lessons can be rescheduled with 48 hours notice; otherwise, a new session must be booked for a fee.
- Missed classes in a multi-session course can be made up via a private lesson for an additional fee. Call the shop to schedule.
- Classes are non-transferable, to another class or another student.
- Classes expire 4 months after payment. After that, students must register for a new series. No exceptions.
- Classes are held Saturdays and Tuesdays, 11:30-1:00pm. Call ahead to confirm a session is active. Private lessons available for an additional fee.
- Yarn must be purchased at YFE to participate.
