Introducing the Cedar Sweater 🌲
"I designed this sweater in honor of my beautiful friend Jodi, as a birthday tribute to her simple, thoughtful style. Jodi loves minimal details, circular yokes, and cool, breathable fibers—so I chose a crisp linen yarn to reflect her aesthetic and spirit.
This design is also a celebration of our time together in Cedar, a peaceful little town we visited in July 2019. That week was filled with stories, knitting, laughter, and rest. Naming the sweater Cedar felt like the perfect way to capture that memory and carry it forward in stitches." ~Joji
The Cedar Sweater is worked with two strands of fingering-weight yarn held together to create a light, DK-weight fabric, making it the perfect canvas for stash-diving and color play. 🎨 Try tonal blends, marled combos, or your favorite fibers to make it truly yours.
🧶 The shop sample is knit in two skeins of Mariposa Yarn Atelier Monarch, a luxurious 100% silk DK-weight yarn with incredible drape and sheen.

📏 Sizes: XS–5XL (designed for 6–8" of positive ease)
👚 Shown in size M on a 36" bust (Shop model is a size M)
📐 Yarn: Approx. 1320–3120 yds fingering (held double) or 660–1560 yds worsted/DK
🪡 Needles: US 5 (3.75 mm) & US 3 (3.25 mm) circulars
🧵 Notions: Stitch markers, stitch holders (or waste yarn), tapestry needle🧶 Skill Requirements: To take this class, you should be comfortable with knit and purl stitches and able to knit in the round.

Classes must be paid in full at the time of registration to reserve your spot.
📅 Cancellations & Changes:
We understand that plans change! If you need to cancel or reschedule, please notify us at least 48 hours before the first class. We’ll issue a store credit for the amount paid.
⚠️ Cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice will result in forfeiture of the class fee.
🛠️ Missed a Class?
We do offer make-up classes for a fee, based on instructor availability. Please contact the shop to schedule.
💻 Class Format:
Classes are held on Zoom, so you can join from anywhere! However, Zoom access is not a substitute for missed classes.
